Raw foodism is the style of food habit where we use uncooked, organic and unprocessed food. This style of food habit came about very recently due to the knowledge that while cooking food with oil and heat, it reduces the natural quality and freshness of the vegetables and fruits that we are using. People find it easy to have raw food because it helps the body in better digestion. Some of the benefits: Some scientists have undergone tests on having raw food in many patients and have come out with many reasons for us to cheer for. Raw food helps in the outlook of our skin. At helps in reducing the wrinkles of our skin due to old age. It also helps in better digestion leading to high metabolic rate which gives us special energy to our body. Raw food intake also reduces the pressure of having heart attack. Since raw food has low amount of sodium and large amounts of phytochemicals, it results in less heart disease.

Some cooking techniques: By including a variety in having the raw food will help in having the food easy and easy for digestion too. We can add sprouting seeds and beans to the diet which has natural fibres in them. Having dried fruits and soaked nuts will add variety to the diet of the raw food you are having. Blending and dehydrating the food items will have a special effect on it when we have the food. It is also good, if you have the fruits juiced and had at some regular intervals of time.

Balanced raw diet: A balanced raw diet will include no use of salt or other food supplements. Once you start having raw food diet, there are chances that you have strong cravings to go back to meat food and to have more fatty foods. But if you go back on your decision, you will be losing a great chance of improving yourself. While having raw food diet you might feel increase in energy .this should be complemented by physical exercises from your part too.
