Fun fact: Forbes magazine ranked Utah State University as the top university in the West for the lowest tuition.

Best programs: Nursing, sales operations, medical radiologic technology, and accounting.

- The Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church) is very prevalent in Utah. But don't let that deter you from looking into colleges with Mormon affiliations. While Brigham Young University does have a strict honor code with rules governing time spent in other students' rooms and beard growth, it does try to be inclusive of students of all backgrounds.
