I like my school thus far, little concerned in the beginning with the violence issues off campus. The school has taken corrective action by adding security. I like that I am only 40 minutes from my home town, which makes it easy to come home any time on weekends. My dorm is roomy and comfortable. Academics
Professors and Advisors have been very helpful to me as a freshman. My workload is heavy due to the major I have chosen, Classes have been easy to follow, and professors are available when needed. My advisor has been a big help with keeping me on track with my core curriculum
College Life
The new convocation center and gym are awesome. The school is open to new clubs and a few friends and I are hoping to start up a wrestling club. The social atmosphere could use some fine tuning, but I have met new friends and usually hang out at their off campus apartment if I stay on weekends

The campus now is state of the art and very competetive. Always the teaching program is top notch. The town of California is small and somewhat depressed. However the school does have many clubs and activities. The education is very affordable.
Academics
The class size was nice, Professors were easy to work with and very qualified. Workload was managable. There were small study group avaiable for almost every class. Professors were easily accesible to discuss any academic concerns you may have.
College Life
Activities. Lecture series, main stream entertainment. Off campus life kind of lacking. Major stores are about a 20 min ride from campus. The Greek culture was very popular. There is also a very strong sports program.
