About Sinclair Community College
Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, offers academic and professional opportunities as well as cultural and social activities.
Sinclair Community College’s academic divisions include:
- Business and Public Services
- Liberal Arts, Communication and Social Sciences
- Life and Health Sciences
- Science, Mathematics and Engineering
While earning an associate’s degree through one of these divisions, students may also participate in Sinclair’s exciting student life. Students may perform with the school’s drama or music groups or exhibit artwork at one of the student galleries. Other student life options include a campus ministry and student clubs and organizations.
Applicants to degree programs may submit admissions applications online, by mail or in person. Degree candidates will also need to submit transcripts and either submit ACT scores or take a placement exam. New students will also need to attend an orientation and meet with their advisor. Those who wish to take a single class need only submit an application and enroll.
Students may apply for financial aid by filling out a FAFSA. The types of aid available at Sinclair Community College include scholarships and federal and private loans. Financial aid eligibility is determined primarily by financial need.
