About CCC
An ideal educational destination or starting point for students in the San Francisco Bay Area, Contra Costa College offers academic and career programs to students who wish to transfer to places like UC Berkeley as well as those interested in immediately entering the workforce.
Located in the South Bay town of San Pablo, Contra Costa boasts award-winning faculty and students as well as a range of degrees and subject areas.
Offering both online and on-campus courses, Contra Costa’s numerous departments include those as specialized as Public Service Education and La Raza Studies, and as broad as Humanities and Human Services.
Contra Costa’s departments reflect career training options in such areas as Cosmetology, Medical Assisting, Librarian Science, Nursing, Real Estate and Teaching. However, equally present among its offerings are such academic subjects as Anthropology, English Literature, Chinese Studies and Physics.
