There are many learning options available at Eastfield College. Located in Dallas, Texas, Eastfield offers a vast range of courses, methods of study and student services and activities.

Learning communities are one example of how varied Eastfield’s offerings are. These are programs which organize several courses around a particular theme, thereby creating more integrated learning.

The variety of options at Eastfield also extends to its degree and certificate offerings. Whether you wish to be a substance abuse counselor, a teacher, automotive technician or a police officer, Eastfield has the program for you. Through the Division of Continuing Education you may, among other things, take a class in scuba diving, GED prep, or enroll in a certificate program to become an EMT or phlebotomist.

The cultural offerings at Eastfield include a very active theatre arts department, which has student-performances throughout the year, as well as lots of club, community service and sports activities.

Eastfield even offers tuition-free education to high school students who are at risk of dropping out.

Eligible students who need financial assistance may receive loans, grants and partial or full scholarships.

Good school overall there are classes for everybodys schedule. There are plenty of resources around so there is no excuses on why you should get off course. During class hours there always tons of students around so its never lonely.

I like how the teachers always say hi to you in the hallway or if it is a teacher you had last semister they always stop you and ask how this semister going. Eastfield always has food and drinks for you. When I was in high school I never thought I would go to eastfield cause it's close to home but I am glad I did because now I have a feel how college is and ready to finish my degree in fire science
