About KSU
Kent State University is an established university in Kent, Ohio, that offers a wide range of academics and student life opportunities.
Undergraduate majors at Kent State include:
- Biomedical Sciences

Kent State students also have access to courses at any of Kent State’s seven other campuses, which offer more than 300 academic programs combined.
Graduate programs and research opportunities are also available.
Student life at Kent State is also plentiful. Students may join one of more than 200 student clubs and organizations. There are also community service opportunities and recreational activities, among other things.
Freshmen admissions requirements include a minimum GPA of 2.5, a college prep curriculum and a minimum ACT score of 21 or combined critical reading and math SAT score of at least 980. Those who do not meet these requirements may, however, still be put on the waitlist and potentially gain admission to Kent.
Kent State offers need-based financial aid awards like Pell grants, state grants, work-study and loans. To apply for these sources of aid, applicants will need to fill out a FAFSA. Graduate students may apply for fellowships or assistantships.

Overall RatingWhen it came to choosing a school, I knew Kent was right for me the second I walked on this campus. Its so beautiful, and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing! I know I made the right decision for me. Now that I have been studying here, I have seen how diverse this campus is, as well as experienced wonderful classes with fantastic professors.
