About Schoolcraft College
Schoolcraft College, located in Livonia, Michigan, is best known for its internationally-acclaimed culinary arts program.
The culinary arts program at Schoolcraft is headed and attended by an impressive team, there to train professional chefs. Many of its chefs and students, both past and present, have won national and international competitions.
Schoolcraft’s culinary arts program also boasts the highest chef-to-student ratio and the most advanced culinary facilities of any culinary school in the U.S.
One of the other outstanding features of Schoolcraft’s culinary program is the food service options that have sprung up around it. Schoolcraft has several on-campus restaurants, perhaps the most impressive being the American Harvest Restaurant where eight award-winning chefs supervise student chefs.
This restaurant serves gourmet breakfasts, brunches, lunches and dinners consisting of international and American cuisine. Culinary students benefit from the practice while everyone else in the community benefits from the taste.
Schoolcraft College has other programs as well, including those in business, sciences, computer technology, and health sciences. There is also a division of continuing education where students may take personal or professional enrichment courses and courses in basic adult education.
Student services include a counseling center which helps students with such things as deciding on a major, dealing with personal issues, and choosing a career or transfer plan.
Financial aid options at Schoolcraft include scholarships, loans, grants, work-study for eligible students and 50% tuition discounts for eligible senior citizens.

Overall RatingI liked all my professors, except maybe one from a math class I took at Radcliff.I would add that my favorite of all was a math professor by the name of Mr. Sean O'Reilly.He was a straight up joy to have and always answered any questions with explanation.He never made me feel like it was so simple that I should get it!My intensions are to return and finish the few classes I need to complete and move on to Nursing School.I plan on doing this in 2014.
