I've only been attending this school for one semester, but i have learned a lot. It is a large school and takes time getting used to. Some buildings connect to others, such as Kirksey Old Main and E.W. Midgett. The school is proud of itself, its background and its horseshoe in the courtyard. The Keathley University Center is the best place to grab some chow. Starbucks, Subway and Pizza Hut, to name a few, have made their home here. The student union building is holds our arcade, bookstore and office help. We need more red buses. Be sure to get on the RIGHT bus or you might end up in the parking lot!
Academics
My algebra teacher tries to sneak in Calculus and stories about her life in South Korea. She will offer us candy and coffee if we make a 100. I have TWO music teachers. Both of them obviously love what they teach. There are 220 students in that class and it only takes about a week to grade our papers. My English teacher often cancels class and allows us to turn in our assignments through e-mail. My health teachers have active, perky personalities. That is always a good feature in professionals.
College Life
Everyone is friendly and has a chance to be heard. Clubs and organizations are being added, so long as it: 1) Is not offensive; 2) Has a leader; 3) Has at least 6 members. Police are patrolling around. I had an asthma attack at the KUC a few weeks back. A campus officer was on the scene within minutes. Our football, soccer and baseball teams are forces not to be reckoned with. The fun times over the weekend are exceptional. I am proud to be true blue. Go Blue Raiders!

I really like the instructors the best. They are understanding and will work with you to help you pass the course with the best possible grade that you can achieve.
Academics
So far, I've enjoyed every course that I have taken so far at MTSU. Most of which have been online courses.
College Life
There are lots of clubs and organizations and campus safety has been stepped up in the last year. As for the social atmosphere, athletics and weekend activities, there are many thing to do but I do not participate in them.

Choosing Middle Tennessee State University was by far the best decision I ever made. The campus was and still is beautiful, in fact, the campus is growing bigger and bigger. MTSU is a great school to attend. Not only offering great programs, but we have awesome sports. We just won our homecoming game!
Academics
At Middle Tennessee State University the classes and programs meet everyone's needs. There are options for evening, weekend, or day classes. I learned very quickly that early morning classes were not for me. I was able to choose classes at times that fit me. There are so many choices and classes are not over crowded. The professors are awesome.
College Life
Campus life at Middle Tennessee State University was awesome. When all of my classes and studying was complete, there were so many on-campus activities to choose. There was no way to be bored here. I didn't have to home every weekend. There was always something to do. And campus security was always walking around campus.

It was a huge mistake when i first accepted the English Department's admission offer. I should have just ignored it and accepted other offers from other schools. The department, as they pretend, is inclusive and diverse, but in reality it's only a bunch of arrogant, heartless and white supremacists. Yes, they accept and welcome international students, but once they are enrolled in their terrible programs, they screw them up and treat them inhumanely. This department is unethical as they only accepts international students for the purpose of making money. Yes international students pay 3,600 for each course they enroll in, and according to the immigration rules, they have to take 9 hours minimum each semester. Their comprehensive exams are horrendously unreasonable. They use it to weed out as many students as possible regardless the fact that such exams are meant to help the students not to rip them apart. As an international PhD student who spent two years of my life working my ass off to survive in such stupid program, I ended up paying $14,400 (I wish I could sue them) without getting my degree. How ethical!! I regret every minute I spent in the English Department among arrogant and heartless faculty who never care about their students success. All they care about is how to show their merciless behaviors against students. It's also ironic that the department has never been ranked by any institution or organization in the country, yet the faculty brags about their stupid programs as being one of the greatest programs in the country LOL. I am serious they brag about this everyday. Also you are not free to express your own opinions as the majority of professors in the department are condescending, closed-minded and fascist right wingers who expect their students to treat them as God!! However, I must not forget the few brilliant, open-minded and humble professors who represent a minority in the department. I feel sad for them being members of the academic gang in the English Department at MTSU.

I have been accepted to MTSU for the fall of 2014. My mother is an alumni of this college, that is why I first became interested in MTSU.Many of my family members live in the Murfressboro area, so I know the town and what it has to offer me as a college student. My interest lies mostly in getting a good education and being a productive citizen, although I enjoy extra curricular activies. Reading, visiting, and discussions with past and present students of MTSU helped me to make the decision to applyfor the fall 2014 session. I look forward to a very successful four years and I will be proud to call MTSU my Alma Mata.
Academics
I really can't expand on this because I haven't yet experienced it.I understand that MTSU professors are very intelligent and really want their students to learn.Class size depends on the subject taken and the available openings.
College Life
I am so looking forward to living in Murfressboro and experiencing as much of life as possible. I feel pretty secure on campus because my cousin, Jonathan Leverette is a campus police officer. The Blue Raiders are a group of very athletic students who have pride in MTSU.

I loved the Mass Comm building. It was very professional. I also enjoyed the campus itself. The grounds are beautiful and very welcoming. The tour guides were very friendly and, even if they didn't have an answer to our question, they were helpful in directing us to someone who would have an answer.
Academics
The general education classes seem to be extremely large, but the Honors college has the same courses but with far smaller class sizes, which was nice. The major-specific classes seemed great, because professors are still working in their respective fields (one of the Recording Industry professors had recently won a Grammy.)
College Life
There seemed to be plenty of clubs and organizations for any student, and students are encouraged to get involved with as many clubs as they can. The campus is incredibly secure. There are police officers everywhere and at night if a student doesn't feel safe he or she can call a number to get an escort to his or her dorm/car.
