Overall Rating

The campus is incredible. The academics where first class. The athletic programs are well run and organized but highly focused on academics. Professors were the best in their class and great teachers.

Alumnus - Grad Year 1997

Overall Rating

UC Davis is a great place to go to undergrad, especially if you are looking to be in a college town. It's very much a small town feel that is centered on the university. The students who go they are smart and good all around people. If you are looking to be in a big city, this is not the place, but the proximity to Lake Tahoe and the Bay Area is nice. The main downside is a lack of big-time (Division I) college sports as well as a strong undergrad business program (at least when I was there).Overall, I'd recommend UC Davis to any student that is looking for a solid education in a small college town.
