The school has a great graduate business program that is in the top 20% of schools nationwide. The professors are very friendly and most will work with you to make sure you are successful. They are also more than willing to provide references. Most of the professors are highly credentialed and also have real world experience to bring to the table. They work with most students learning curves and seem to be willing to make sure the material is easily grasped. There are also tutors, labs, fellow students to help you become successful. Most teachers require you to work with your fellow classmates, so you can become comfortable working with diverse groups and learn to be able to get along with different personalities.

Alumnus - Grad Year 1983

Academics Rating

Depending on your major, there are world class academic opportunities at UNM. The anthropology, photography, and bilingual education programs are stellar. my major was education and I was very happy with my classes, instructors, and academic rigor. I felt well prepared for the challenges of a doctoral program (which I completed with honors).
