Overall Rating

Southeast Missouri State University offers a variety of majors to choose from nursing, education, computer science, math, sciences, agriculture, horticulture, and many new majors and minors have been added. Most recently a certificate in autism has been added since SEMO is a center for autism treatment. My most memorable memories is being a part of the Golden Eagles Marching Band for six years and two years in the ROTC program(Straight Arrow Drill Team, GMC Council and Arnold Air Society. There are many student organizations to choose from Resident Hall Association, Student Nurses Association, Student Teachers Association, Phi Beta Lambda, many Greek organizations and of course a strong intramural program. SEMO offers a variety of student intern opportunities and if you are a nursing major, clinicals will be two days a week at Southeast Hospital, St. Francois Medical Center and Anna Jonesboro Mental Health Center.
