About Fort Belknap College

Aaniiih Nakoda College (ANC) is an accredited tribal college on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in Harlem, Montana. Through ANC’s academics, tribal members may get a professional education or pursue studies related to their culture.

ANC offers associate’s degrees in career-oriented fields like:

  • Allied Health
  • Human Services
  • Psychology
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Elementary Education
  • Business Technology
  • Carpentry

ANC also offers a major in Tribal Management for those interested in professions on the reservation.

Those who wish to study American Indian culture from an academic perspective may major in American Indian Studies.

Students who wish to get short-term technical degrees may attend ANC’s Native American Career and Technical Education Program (NACTEP).

ANC provides support to students in all of its programs through academic advising, career counseling and financial aid advisement. Students with a demonstrated financial need and a good student loan history may qualify for federal financial aid programs like Pell grants and student loans.

Admissions requirements include a completed admissions application, transcripts or a copy of one’s GED and a copy of immunization records and TB test results. New students must also take the COMPASS entrance exam.
