With consistently high rankings from U.S. News and World Report and other publications, Yeshiva University is a respected educational institution that encompasses several different distinctive schools including the world-renowned Albert Einstein School of Medicine.

Yeshiva’s other schools include:

  • Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law

  • Syms School of Business

Yeshiva’s liberal and performing arts programs, offered through Yeshiva College, include such majors as:

  • American Studies
  • Art
  • Classical Studies
  • Music
  • Philosophy

While Judaic spirituality and religion, as articulated in the Torah, is an integral part of all areas of study, Yeshiva also offers majors specifically dedicated to Torah studies. These programs are designed for the undergraduate student, the graduate scholar and the Rabinnical seminarian.

College life at Yeshiva is intellectually and creatively stimulating. In addition to having access to the most exciting city in the United States, Yeshiva students may attend lectures by well-known scholars, entrepreneurs and Rabbis.

Admissions requirements vary depending on the program or school to which one is applying. Those applying for undergraduate programs at Yeshiva’s liberal arts college will need to submit an application, an essay, SAT or ACT scores and transcripts.

Financial aid is awarded to eligible Yeshiva students, primarily through scholarships, which are based either on academic performance and merit or on financial need.

Overall Rating

I love Yeshiva, because the atmosphere is pleasant and safe. I also love all my professors, because they are very caring, empathic, geniune and understanding. My professors explore my mental and challenge my thought process because they want me to stay sane and be able to accomplish my goals to be a skilled professional in my field as a social worker.
