Overall

This question is difficult to answer when I haven't enrolled or attended any classes. I have visited the campus three separate times to date including graduation and I am totally in love with the school. Since I plan to take my Associates Degree once I earn it and transfer to Kansas University, I checked to see how my credits would transfer and was told their wouldn't be any problems. This relieved my concerns and lessened any apprehension since I didn't want to retake classes or take classes that I wouldn't need.I am also interested in possibly playing campus sports such as basketball and track. It is my plan to have a well rounded college experience at JCCC.

Academics

I have not attended college to date and cannot answer this question. I have friends that are currently attending JCCC and others that have completed their course of study and each rate the school very high. My visit to the beautiful campus and tour sold me and I cannot wait to attend in August. It is my plan to be a fulltime student which is why I am seeking this scholaqrship help.

Campus Facilities & Safety

JCCC has a beautiful campus with lots of parking. The educational facilities such as computer labs are top notch. Besides education another thing that has helped my decision is the fact that the JO bus comes to Lawrence and I can commute back and forth to campus without driving and save money to be used for my education and not spend it on gasoline.Regarding the safety on campus it seems to me excellent!

Overall

I think for a community college at the end of the day it succeeds in tipping the scale towards being a nice place to both learn and actually reside in through your course hours. Learning can't be focused on if the environment isn't up to par. The students are from all over the area and as they go their fairly nice and are individually unique. So personally as options go it's a nice place with respectable costs. Out of my visit there I especially remember the friendly professors juggling things their busy on while still giving students time of day. Always a pleasant thing to see. If there's one thing I dislike out of the place and a tip towards others considering JCCC it's not to be too dependent on the offices there in terms of planning aid and the resources for future goals. It's fairly nonexistent there unlike universities. Blog sobre innovacion, creatividad y emprendiemiento Innovacion y creatividad

Academics

The school offers a good amount of both classes and programs for generally whatever your prospects are, aided by the wealth of the country. Even as a cc what's on the plate extends to most people's interests or gets the knowledge base ready for a transfer after two years or so to a university. Professors as I explained in the overall are surprisingly demeanored toward you well when their not overloaded and in a college setting will get you the held you need. The work itself is fair, more hectic to high school standards, but fair and your able to get most things done well ahead. Following the well funded, managed, and prepared cc scheme the class sizes themselves cater to high school standards. Your not lost in a sea of students but might not particularly stand out. And for most this is a nice middle ground.

Campus Facilities & Safety

As previously mentioned this school is well funded and the community around it is safe and American as you can get and this leads to a campus that you wouldn't cringe at going to and from through your day studying or whatever else. The facilities are well taken care of and open to both students and even the general public, including computer labs which are what you'd expect. With community and a large middle class background of students in mind JCCC has organizations aplenty dealing with everything from physical activity, to student oriented, and nationally bound. Parking is manageable and beats universities any day. JCCC's campus itself is very secure and you'll feel that way too. This is a place where you'll hardly ever consider such a thing and be able to focus on what your there for: Learning.
