About Belmont University

Nashville’s Belmont University has everything you need to earn your bachelor’s or master’s degree from a Tennessee school.

The programs and schools of study offered by Belmont include education, English and foreign languages, philosophy, computer science, engineering, neuroscience, web programming, accounting, management, marketing, nursing, social work and a wealth of areas of study in the College of Visual and Performing Arts and School of Religion.

Counseling, a fitness center, and many daily student activities are among the ways that Belmont makes the campus as helpful and accessible as you could hope for from the college experience.

Just like with any other accredited university, filling out the FAFSA could lead to earning federal loans and grants toward paying college tuition. However Belmont offers a selection of merit and endowed scholarships to those who qualify. There are also outside scholarships for eligible students. Inquire at the financial aid office for information about these options.

Belmont offers an array of career services for those who seek it. Internships and jobs are posted daily on their Career Connector website. Other services include job search strategy, interview training, career assessments and employer contacts.

Overall Rating

Attending college at Belmont was, thus far, the best four years of my life. It was everything I had hoped for in a college experience. There are so many great things about Belmont that I could literally write a novel. I have recommended Belmont to everyone that asks, and I will never stop singing its praises. One of the outstanding features of Belmont is its size. It is a rather small private school and has a very intimate atmosphere. The highest number of students I ever had in a single class was 35, so the teacher to student ratio is awesome. The teachers know your name and extremely approachable. Also, it's just nice to feel like you know, or at least have seen, most people on campus. It's a very comforting feeling. Not to mention, Belmont has one of the most beautiful campuses I've ever seen, and it has great history to it as well!
