Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center’s Harold B. & Dorothy A. Snyder School provides training for in-demand healthcare professions, offering several different degree options within each field of study.
Located in Plainfield, New Jersey, Muhlenberg provides training in:
- Nursing
- Radiography
- Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Those in the nursing program have several degree options, which include one for Licensed Practical Nurses transitioning into Registered Nursing and a program for Registered Nurses who would like to obtain a bachelor’s in Nursing.
The Radiography program also gives students the option of transitioning into a bachelor’s degree program.
All of Muhlenberg’s programs are offered on a full-time basis so that students may complete them as quickly as possible. For this reason, many students are able to complete their training in as little as 13 months.
Each program has different admissions requirements, with all of them requiring an application and transcripts. Those who graduated from high school fewer than three years prior to entering Muhlenberg must also provide SAT scores. Those entering the BSN-to-LPN program must provide a copy of their Practical Nursing license. Prerequisite courses in the sciences and other subjects are also required for certain programs, such as Registered Nursing.
Scholarships, grants, loans or work-study funds, or often some combination of these, are given to students who have a demonstrated financial need and require financial aid to help pay tuition costs.

Overall RatingThe professors are awesome. They teach us as if we are in kindergarden so we understand the concept. They are patient and we get free tuitoring if we need it. We have open lab hours where we can go and practise if we are not comfortable doing certain skills. Our class size varies but it can never be too small or too large where we don't get the help that we need to succeed. You have to keep up with the material because it gets over whelming and if you fall back it becomes impossible to keep up. We study in groups and help each other and push one another and it really helps us a lot and we pass our exams with high grades this way. This is my 2nd nursing school and I wish I had started out with this school first because I would be done with my major already. The environment is great . Sometimes we have zumba or kick boxing that the student government puts on so we can relieve the some stress and it hepls us alot and did I mention that it is absolutely free.
