What I like most about this school is just the entire environment. Not just meaning the gorgeous, safe and clean campus but also, the energy and friendliness of all of the students and faculty there.
Academics
I've only attended a few classes there but the professors are very laid back and welcoming. Even if the classes seem a bit difficult they are always willing to take extra time out of their day to help you understand
College Life
There are many clubs and organizations that I've heard of and the athletics are phenominal. Tons of stuff to do all within the extremely safe campus. The social atmosphere is also wonderful because in just one visit you can tell its a place where you will make lots of friends and get involved in a lot of different activities

I loved Messiah as soon as I walked onto campus. I remember my experiences going to other state schools such as Pitt Brad, where the students all walked by you with their head down and I just remember not feeling welcome. At Messiah, it was different. People were greeting me and smiling and waving. When I first toured Messiah, the guide took us into a huge building, and me being from a small town, it was kind of amazing to me, so I was just looking around in awe. At one point, I looked up toward the second floor balcony, where some students were studying. One of those students looked down at me and waved, and then smiled. I felt so welcome at Messiah, unlike other schools I visited, and I really love it there. The students and faculty are great people, and I know that this is the school that I want to make my home for the next four years. If you are considering Messiah College at all, I would say to go for it, because I fell in love with that school and can't wait to be there this fall!
Academics
I have currently not had any real classroom time, as I am enrolled for this fall and have not had classes yet. However, according to the information I was provided, and based off of a few workshops I attended, I believe that Messiah's educational experience is a worth while one. I attended a few workshops while I was at Messiah on a tour, and the professors who taught these workshops were so personal, and relate-able, and very intelligent individuals. As for me personally, the work load may be quit difficult as I am an art education major and I have a full curriculum because of it. But, I believe it is a fair amount of work, as the future I am pursuing is one that will take experience, hard work, and diligence in order to move on, and I believe that Messiah College will prepare me for that.
College Life
When I went on a tour at Messiah, I was amazed by how many organizations and opportunities they had for their students at the college. The tour guide told me and my father about how they have concerts every once in a while for the students, and how the college puts on dances and other fun activities for the students while they are there. There are many clubs and organizations to be involved in too, such as dance and theater, and choir. If you are worried about keeping busy at Messiah, don't, because they have tons of great opportunities for any student.

My family and I have taken many visits to Messiah College. Just about every open house they have held, my family has attended for the past year. Messiah College has great hospitality and the overall feel is all about community. Everyone is welcoming and the atmosphere makes me feel at home. Recently, I stayed the night with a friend at Messiah College during the week to get the weekday experience. I was able to sit in on classes, go to an event called B-Sides, and ate the regular food offered. This time I spent at Messiah helped confirm everything I want in a College; a great educational experience, manageable fun time, and great food! I would certainly recommend any student to visit any college overnight to have a better perspective on the regular school day.
Academics
During my overnight visit at Messiah, I attended some classes. What I realized during those classes is that they are very relaxed, has real-world preparations, they are interactive and personable, as well as keeps your attention since they are a little faster pace then high school courses.
College Life
The social atmosphere feels very safe and friendly. There are many, many clubs for you to find one that fits you the best and gets you interacting with the school and other students. There are great activities during the week such as B-Sides. B-Sides is every Wednesday night in a lounge area called the Union where Messiah holds free concerts with upcoming bands as well as other established bands like Relient K. Messiah College also has a cinema center with movies that are not even out on DVD yet. Student life and Campus life at Messiah College is great!
