ABOUT ATLANTA SCHOOL OF MASSAGE
For an ACCSC-accredited education in Massage Therapy at one of the largest massage schools in the southeast, the Atlanta School of Massage in Atlanta, Georgia, may be the place for you.
The school maintains a partnership with Emory University for their research in the field of neuromuscular therapy and General Anxiety Disorder. As a student, you can contribute to this research by joining one of Atlanta’s exclusive programs.
The academics offered by Atlanta include a comprehensive 750-hour massage therapy certification program. You’ll receive certification in five key areas, including:
• Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Therapy
• Neuromuscular Therapy
• Spa Therapies
• Reflexology
• Seated Massage
To help you become an effective and successful massage therapist, ASM also instructs you in communication skills, business practices and the development of a client-centered business philosophy.
You’ll learn how to interview, assess and treat each client so that they receive an unbeatable, unique experience at your place of business.The program contains a clinical practicum, where you’ll be supervised as you provide massage services to real clients in the SensAbility Clinic.
Students can choose to complete the program during the day or in the evening, according to their schedule.
Our admissions policy is open, allowing students with a high school diploma or GED the opportunity to apply.
The Atlanta School of Massage is eligible to offer federal financial aid through Pell grants, SEO grants, subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford loans and PLUS loans.
