  • Students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( to determine financial need.
  • All applicants must be US citizens or eligible non-citizens.
  • Satisfactory Academic Progress must be maintained while attending the University in order to continue to recieve federal or private financial funds.
  • A student's financial aid package may be certified up to the cost of attendance and once funding is disbursed, the funding is applied to the student's account.
  • The Univeristy has the right to deny any student Federal loans if the loans are deemed to be detrimental ot the student's financial situation.
  • To be eligible for and recieve Title IV financial assistance at BU, an applicant must meet certain eligibility requirements, such as the following: meet enrollment requirements, be accepted for enrollment, be an active student in an eligible program, have a high school diploma, the recognized equivalent of a high school diploma such as the general educational development certificate (GED) or has completed homeschooling at the secondary level as defined by state law.
  • ATB students may be eligible for Financial Assistance (See Admission Requirements in BU catalog), be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen, cannot be in default on a Title IV loan, cannot owe a refund on a Title IV grant.
