About O'More College of Design

For a unique art and design education that emphasizes intensive hands-on learning, individual attention and a commitment to human service, try the O’More College of Design in Franklin, Tennessee.

The school promotes partnerships with local, regional and global communities through outreach programs, exhibits, continuing education and service projects. It strives to produce students that can create authentic beauty as well as help the local and global society through empowerment.

As the school’s faculty, students and board members are from 45 states and 20 countries, the school stresses the importance of exposure to other cultures. To honor its commitment to global awareness, the school offers study abroad opportunities through its Global Envision programs, like summer semesters in Ireland, research memberships at Oxford and more.

Academics at the school include programs in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts and more. Each program offers internship opportunities to students, as the school encourages students to gain real world experience for a well-rounded education.

The school does not offer housing, but there a variety of apartment complexes and private homes available in the surrounding area.

Admissions require students to achieve a minimum of 20 on the ACT or 1500 on the SAT, with a high school or prior college GPA of 2.7. Strong portfolios and a statement of purpose may help students with scores or a GPA that is lower.

The school provides both merit-based and need-based scholarships for eligible students, while other federal and state financial aid options are mostly need-based.
