This is a really nice college and you can see why Jon Stewart (host of The Daily Show) has fond memories of attending it. The campus is nestled in the heart of Williamsburg and while it's not the most exciting town, any history buff will absolutely love the place. I transferred here from a city university and liked it much more. Academics
The classes here aren't always the easiest, but I consider that to be a good thing. You're paying for an education, not a walk in the park. There are also some fantastic extracurricular courses that you can take - one course I particularly enjoyed was a World of Music class that really helped expose me to a variety of musical styles I never would have thought to listen to or experiment with. The English program is fantastic as well.
College Life
There are a lot of nice people here and some decent social clubs, but there's not a lot of activities to do on campus since it's not a very large place and not in a city. Fortunately, if you want to have some fun, the school isn't far from cities like Richmond and Norfolk, which I would often travel to on the weekends for fun. It's also very close to Busch Gardens, which is a great theme park with some of the best roller coasters on the East coast.
