About HSSU
Harris-Stowe State University (HSSU), whose roots can be traced back to 1857, has a primary mission of addressing the higher education needs of residents of the St. Louis, Missouri, region.
HSSU offers over a dozen bachelor’s degree programs such as Biology, Education, Professional Interdisciplinary Studies, and Urban Studies. The university is also home to the Anheuser-Busch School of Business, which offers bachelor’s degrees in various business categories.
College Life at HSSU has improved drastically since it opened its first state-of-the-art residence halls in 2006 for non-married undergraduates.
The Office of Financial Assistance at Harris-Stowe State University is dedicated to ensuring each student has access to and knowledge of the financial aid opportunities that are available to them. Students may be eligible for state or federal grants, scholarships, loans, private financial aid, and more.
