Overall

NCCU is a good small to medium school, but is becoming a good research school in the science and Biomed fields. The school has put a strong effort into students graduating on time with strong GPA's. Student life is good due to the other schools in the area.

Academics

NCCU political Science program was a good program because the classes were small, which was important to me. The professors made sure that the students were aware of the current national and local public policies as well as history. Writing and research made for a heavy workload but paid off during internships and job interviews.

College Life

NCCU is in Durham NC but is close to Raleigh, NC, Greenboro, NC, Cary, NC which is the home of many other schools. This makes for interactions with many students other than just NCCU's. There is many organization both on campus and off. Campus safety is good, and visible on and around campus. There is many activities during the week and weekend, sometime free.
