Emily Marsh Alumnus - Grad Year 2014
Academics RatingThe foundations year is a lot of work, and very overwhelming at first, but it really trains you for what comes next! You have to work really hard to keep up with the studio work at this school. And the non-studio classes can be challenging as well! But from my experience, teachers were always helpful whenever I asked for it; be proactive if you want to succeed (like anything).
Sharleen Wesgan Alumnus - Grad Year 2010
Academics RatingClass sizes were perfect. About 20 people to a class. If you wanted help, help was given... you just needed to seek it out. Actually, the way most classes are run (studio classes that is), you got the attention you needed without asking. We would work on projects in class... the professors taking their walk around to see how everyone is doing... and some classes we had critique days to talk about works in process.... in which everyone got feedback from everyone else! I experienced a high-school-like feel relationship between me and my professors. If I wanted extra help, I got it. The professors knew me.The work was extremely hard (at least for me), because I had little knowledge/experience in the "professional" art-world (I had skills, but they needed to be "perfected" and I needed to learn why I was doing what I was doing). I may not of had the best grades, but I knew I was learning and improving... and I think that is what truly mattered. Also, homework (for studio classes) is basically work you do in class... /"work on this for homework, finish for homework" etc. Sounds easy overall, but it is a lot of work... trust me. You'll be busy. Webs Para Contactos Gay.html
