About Simmons College
One of the benefits of going to college in Boston is the excitement of student life in the city. Nonetheless, it can get overwhelming at times, and that’s where Simmons College’s small, welcoming campus comes into play. With more than 80 student organizations, there’s plenty to do on Simmons’ campus, but its warm and familial environment ensures that you’ll never feel lost or out-of-place.
Simmons offers undergraduate academics for women in a variety of subjects, from Modern Languages to Scientific Computing. More than 30 majors are available, including pre-professional coursework and 4+1 programs that enable you to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in just five years.
In addition to its undergraduate school, Simmons offers graduate academics through the following divisions:
- College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Studies
- Graduate School of Library and Information Science
- School of Nursing and Health Sciences
- School of Management
Financial aid options at Simmons include scholarships, grants and loans. Scholarships are based on merit and range from $2,000 to full tuition, while aid from grants and loans varies based on financial need. Make sure to complete the FAFSA by March 1 for need-based financial aid consideration.
As a women’s college, Simmons offers undergraduate admissions to women only. However, admissions for its graduate programs are open to men and women.
