About Judson College

For more than 150 years, Judson College has been offering women a personalized, Christian-centered education. Judson College’s academics are high ranking and include professional and academic degree programs. Judson also offers a number of scholarships to eligible students.

Judson is located in the small town of Marion, Alabama, on a picturesque, historical campus that is in close proximity to Birmingham, Atlanta and other major cities.

Degree offerings encompass academic liberal arts majors as well as pre-professional programs like:

  • Pre-Dentistry
  • Pre-Medicine
  • Pre-Pharmacy
  • Pre-Physical Therapy

Since Judson keeps its student enrollment to a minimum, classes are small and learning is personalized.

Judson women may participate in Christian-oriented student activities as well as academic and special-interest student organizations. Judson offers need-based federal grants, loans and work-study opportunities. Judson also awards numerous scholarships, which are based on different criteria, including grades and test scores.

Admissions are based on ACT or SAT scores and grades. The minimum GPA is generally around 2.0, the minimum ACT score is usually 18 and the minimum SAT score about 870. However, those who don’t meet these requirements may still be considered.
