One of the must see sights in Frankfurt is the Kaiserdom at Domplatz. It is a tall and beautiful cathedral overlooking Domplatz with wonderful sculptures and architecture inside.

Situated inside is also the Dom museum which has all artefacts related to the city’s history and kings, and some paintings that date back to the 14th century. There is an extension of the museum in the building right opposite to the cathedral.

Then Romerberg, with the Fountain of Justice in the center is again a must visit place. It has a long history to it, and one can find many important buildings in this area. The beautiful medieval square also houses the city hall, and if you are lucky, you might just come across one of the many public festivals that are held here.

Frankfurt is famous for being the birthplace of the renowned poet and writer Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe. Those interested to know more about his life and works can go and visit the Goethe House and Museum. For those who are instead more interested in the city’s deep history, there is the Historic hes Museum located at Romerberg.

Frankfurt has a total of 38 museums and all these are fascinating to visit, each one being unique in itself. Some of the most famous ones include Haus Gibberish (Regional Art Museum), Museum of Communication, Deutsches Film-museum, Debauchees Architekturmuseum, Museum of World Cultures etc.

You can take 30 minute helicopter trips from the Egelsbach Airport to enjoy a wonderful view of the city from the sky. Or you could also go in for boat tours on the Main and Rhine rivers.
