Here's When Destiny 2 Cross-Play Is Coming

Destiny 2 developer Bungie has revealed that Cross-Play is coming to the shared-world shooter in 2021. Furthermore, the studio has revealed that Transmog will be rolling out with Season 14 of Destiny 2.

The company confirmed the news during a lengthy blog post, where it also revealed that DDOS projection will be available for Destiny 2 players in Season 13, while the classic Vault of Glass Raid will also be making a comeback.

Destiny 2 was released for PS4, PC and Xbox One in 2017, and will be hitting PS5 and Xbox Series X/S this week. The game will feature a number performance enhancements for next-generation platforms, including improved resolution and frame rate.

Bungie is planning on supporting Destiny 2 for some time to come, so those waiting for Destiny 3 will probably be kept waiting for a while yet. That said, we know the studio is planning on shipping at least one non-Destiny game by 2025.
