How to Make Semolina Pudding & Sweet Semolina Pudding

Semolina is nutritious. It is full of dietary iron. That makes it an ideal food for pregnant women, old, sick and of course the children. You can make tasty and healthy sweet dishes with it easily.Ingredients:

•    Semolina ½ cup
•    Milk 2 cups
•    Cashew nut 100 grams
•    Raisin 100 grams
•    Sugar ¾ cup
•    3-4 Green cardamom
•    Butter oil

Preparation:

Soak raisin in milk for at least 30 minutes to make it soft and plump. Grind sugar into fine paste so that it will mix easily. Crush cardamom.

Process:

Heat butter oil in a pan. Fry cashew nut in the butter oil till light brown. Add semolina in it and stir. Now, add cardamom and milk. Stir continuously. After a while add raisin and sugar.

Keep stirring so that it may not stick to the container. When the whole thing starts taking a creamy texture, remove it from oven. Cool it down. When it cool downs completely, place it in the refrigerator to chill. After dinner serve it cold as a dessert. Garnish with finely chopped pistachios.

Sweet Semolina Pudding:

To make this preparation you need   -

Ingredients:

•    Semolina 1 cup
•    Milk 1cup
•    Sugar ¾ cup
•    1 apple
•    Almond 50 grams
•    Raisin 50 grams

Preparation:

Grind sugar into fine powder. Cut fruits into small pieces, soak raisin in milk till they swell up and turn soft.

Process:

Mix well semolina and milk in a container. Add sugar and stir. Make sure that sugar has completely dissolved in the whole thing. Mix fruits, almonds and raisin into it.

Now transfer the mixture into a container having a tight lid. Place it on a steamer and steam for 15-20 minutes.Stop heating and chill it in refrigerator.

The whole thing will get tight.Before serving it as a desert cut it into diamond shapes or any shape you like. You can also set in molds. Serve it garnished with dry fruits.
